  Several months ago, I retained Mr. Marnell in a marital case. He ended up blackmailing me to pay additional funds or he "would not appear in court". Basically, I was forced to give him additional funds to continue my case - a clear violation of NYS bar association. Also, in my opinion and others, he stuttered before the judge while attempting to defend a matrimonial action. I would not refer him to others as I deem him inadequate and not a worthy attorney to be represenitive of. He gave me bad legal advice and I will pursue actions against him to the fullest extent of the law. I will NEVER retain him or his firm in the future and I will inform all I know of his inability to adequately defend.
